Dear Adoptive Grandparent,

My name is Jill Bryant, and I am contributing faculty at Walden University. I am conducting interviews as part of a research study investigating the transitional experience of grandparents who formally adopt one or more grandchildren. Adoption must have occurred two years ago or longer to allow adequate time to reflect on the transition. Interviews will take approximately 60 minutes and are informal and conversational. All responses are kept confidential with no personal identifying information. Participants will be given a 25.00 Amazon gift card in appreciation of your time.
Your participation will be invaluable to this research because while many have studied grandparents helping to raise their grandchildren, almost no research exists for those who formally adopt their grandchild. Individual Counseling is offered for teens and adults. Sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length.
Group Counseling is offered for children, teens and adults as time and interest permits. The office will advertise groups as they are planned and implemented.

Supervision
Dr. Bryant has been supervising counseling students, interns and those seeking licensure since 2004. She received her certification as an Approved Clinical Supervisor in 2007.
She can meet with supervisees hourly and also has an interest in group supervision utilizing a reflective teaming approach.
